Food connects everything and everyone

We make complex information more accessible to more people. We do this by reviewing scientific data, unpicking technical jargon, and exploring and explaining the practical realities of farming and producing food.

Food connects and impacts everything and everyone. We created Unravel Your Food to fulfil the need for simple, accurate information for people who want to make the best food choices available to them.

Most people don’t have the time to research and weigh up the full implications of everything they eat.

You do. The food that you buy is the food that is grown. Producers and retailers only grow and sell food that people are willing to buy. You can think of yourself as a food-influencer and a catalyst for change.

Use Unravel Your Food to identify food that has been farmed in ways that positively impact the environment, wildlife, farmed animals and people. Focus on small changes that you can make — then invite your friends into the conversation!

We are a blend of farmers, scientists, communicators, and vets. In short, we are people that eat, grow, study and care about our food system. Our aim is to make it easy for people to choose Good Food for themselves and their families while simultaneously making a positive impact on the environment, wildlife, farmed animals and people.

We are a blend of farmers, scientists, communicators, and vets. The people responsible for the information on UYF are:
